I worked at UPS in Elmsford, New York. I was treated like crap for being the only female, for being white, for being over 40, for being a disabled veteran, and finally, to keep me from using the medical benefits that I was forced to return to work within a year, with no light duty available to me because I am a female (males get light duty when injured, especially NONWHITES!), or lose (despite my doctor saying I needed a year and a HALF to recover!), a UPS supervisor, Scott Many, lied and said I sexually harassed him (when I had reported him for insinuating I was faking my injury and didn't want to work, which he did because I dated a co-worker who WASN'T HIM, I told UPS he was harassing me so they turned it around, and had Scott and his wife lie to get me fired. The Union failed to adequately represent me because they didn't want females on the shift, either). What greater sexual harassment is there besides a supervisor getting me fired because I didn't want him? I am suing the wife (N.Y. Civil Supreme Court, Westchester County, Index 12265/2009). In the course of that suit, she found out the truth about who harassed who, and is now divorcing Scott Many(New York civil supreme Index 010529/2010), taking his three kids, and selling their house at 3 Ivanhoe Place, Briarcliff Manor, New York. Meanwhile, I now have a herniated disk in my back from carrying around a leg that UPS denied me proper healthcare for, and am too disabled to work.
